Acceptance, valuation and inspection

The sellers accepted the offer, and your bank will order an evaluation and inspection of the property. The Bank will approve your home loan subject to property valuation, and subject to meeting all the credit and FICA requirements. The valuation guarantees that the property being purchased reflect its true value and the inspection ensures that the home is structurally sound and there are no serious issues.

Also, if the seller does not have of a beetle certificate, an electrical compliance certificate or a plumbing compliance certificate, these will need to be obtained.

The final step would be for signature at the conveyancing attorneys and the transfer of the property into your name. Plan to block out at least an hour because you’re going to have to sign a mountain of paperwork. Now you can get the keys and start celebrating!
